I hope this is at the far end of the layout, you do remember I'm allergic to GWR Nice building, or is it how Mrs Brown would say "That's nice" I'd better stock up on the Piriton's for the exhibitions. Paul
Ah now I realise that's why I never walked any further west than Pipe Gate on the old Market Drayton line trackbed... it was heading to close to the frontiers of all things green
Shed looks good. Paint it brick by brick then wash over your mortar colour. Will take you at least a week to paint ! Just don't rush it. Cheers, Gary.
Delivery update ..... wont be arriving until Thursday ...... booooooooo then its travel down to York on Friday so nothing happening there then. York all day Saturday then back up Saturday night. So, Sunday at the earliest. boooooooo
Ohhhhhh boy. Am I going to send you to sleep here .... A few pictures of the goods shed in its separate parts. I have not opened the individual bags of parts or I would have been here all night. I never knew it came in so many layers of ply, MDF and veneers. Great kits with some fine detail. This is photo heavy so feel free to switch off if you wish. even the box is huge. some lovely details and very well cut. bags of fittings and more .... separate office building and a load of glazing panels well wrapped and protected with a blue film to prevent scratching. barge boards and the likes ..... some of the main wall panels .... and more ...... some of the outer brickwork veneers etc ..... and again ...... and more layers ..... and the roof trusses and bracing pieces .... more external wall facings ...... internal loading bay surface ...... the rectangular piece is the eaves where the individual trusses come together ..... you'll get a better idea of just how many different parts and layer actually go together as these photos don't do the kit justice. A very nice kit. cheers for now toto
Now that should keep you quiet for a few hours... Will you be painting the individual parts before assembly ?? Cheers, Gary.
Now that’s a nice looking Kit very well labeled by the look looking forward to seeing this come together.
Oh boy you are going to be busy! It look's the biz though mate. It will make an interesting project, can't wait! Pete.
I got to see the kit, impressive detail and and finishing parts, should make a very nice model - over to Toto now
I will hopefully be starting this in the next couple of weeks. I still have a bit to go on the low relief warehouse yet. Mostly the roof to finish, Windows and doors to paint and fit. This is a more in depth build compared with the low relief building but should make up into an impressive build. Looking forward to it. Toto
Get them while you can, I believe that Brian Lewis is retiring later in the year and I am not aware that the range has been sold on.
Yes, I heard that as well. Not really fussed about much more. The engine sheds have been priced a bit OTT. Toto
Somebody will grab them. Hopefully drop the prices of some of them. The bigger pieces seem a bit over priced.
