Just received GM781 from Train-Tech. Developed with Gaugemaster, it provides Steam station background sounds. It does not have as many sounds as the Hornby R6888TTS but there is a choice of 5 modules to suit your chosen location / era. Measures about 4cm X 3cm X 2cm, so can be easily concealed. Ah. I like how it can be tied in to an action, such as a point being throw . I’m glad it’s not just “a sound generator” but can be used like a sound decoder (well similar)
