Well, having had a few wet days I've done a bit on Trevennan. The sharp eyed amongst you will notice that the lone cottage has gone and been replaced with a field with some horses in it, The first platform has been started and some extra trees have been planted on the hill above where the cottage was. The reason the platform stops where it does at the moment is because it is a baseboard end. It will eventually continue along the front of the layout. The other platforms will be started next wet day and then everything wired and ballasted to the baseboard joint. Some houses once I get them will go along the front as well so you view the trains through the houses, as would be in real life.

The field of horse which replaces the cottage. (Toto: Marina is now homeless.)

    The platform area.

Makes a change to see buildings being replaced with agriculture (well, grazing), normally it's the other way round and they build things on green spaces.

They try to anyway around where I live.

    Looks good

Marina ...... Homeless... Disaster. The other local women will need to be extra vigilant with their other halves.

Good to have the update. Great stuff as usual.

Hopefully a start will soon be made on finishing off the track laying etc. It's about time I put this one to bed. Too many distractions that is the trouble.

Not at the moment Gary I'm afraid. Been trying to catch up on other things but I am going to try soon. And also try and get the plank on a bit further. That's the trouble, too many irons in the fire, and the weather doesn't always help. Decide to do something and the sun comes out and off I go birding etc. Will keep all informed when something does happen. Been out today and got soaked at the Tavistock Steam Fair but weather looks a bit off for the next couple of days so perhaps. Bye the way JayDub looks great at the moment. Keep up the good work. (Pics to follow of the TSF).

    R. I. P Trevennan.

As you all know I am moving house so Trevennan had to to go as I couldn't take it with so with great sadness it has been demolished and the baseboards waiting disposal in the local tip. It was fun building it and as soon a I get settled I will probably start something new. This all depends on how much space I will have in the new place, which at the moment is unknown.
I probably won't be on now until after the Christmas break so I'll take this opportunity to wish you all Happy and Safe Xmas.

    See you later lads

    Mick
