Reporting Office

Loco crews arriving or departing from the yard get their instructions and needs processed at this office next to the loco services headshunt.






Mess

Probably seen as more important than the reporting office by staff and crews is the mess, where hot food, tea and toilets are available.






The Buildings

Both are pre-painted resin models by Harburn Hamlet, the original colours are IMO rather garish with pink bricks and silver roofs, seems a strange choice for slate roofed buildings.

Anyway, repainted, toned down to match the general style of the buildings in Warren Yard and bedded in with weeds and a little clutter they fit the bill well.
