This is the main shop of the site where most of the maintenance is carried out, it contains one through road, one half length road and a well equipped machine shop. A heavy lift hoist stands on the approach to the rear bay of the shop. Attached to the east end is the boiler house providing heat for Shop 1, Shop 2, joiners and the mess. Coal storage in front. The roof sections are removable and the interior detailed and painted, with materials, crates, shelving and machine tools added. I went a bit overboard on these works!
