and a warm to Albert from a very wet Dundee Great to have you onboard and I look forward to hearing about yourself and your modelling adventures so far. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Hi Paul, Thank you for your kind words. I am scratchbuilding narrow gauge in about 1:45 running on 16,5mm track mainly. Recently bought an old Lima Diesel Shunter in normal gauge and I'm intend to use the chassis for a rebuilt to a Ruston 88DS. (well, approximately that is due to the distance between the axes) First of all I have to change the motor with a pancake 12V cd/dvd player motor. I'am using batteries and radiocontrol. Not quit succesfull at this time but I have good hope. I also have two Slater's kits, cokes and cattle wagon. Very old kits which I could buy from an 0 gauge modeller as a bargain. I hope to find information here from people who went the same way, and learn from their mistakes... Kind regards, Albert
Hi Albert Really like the about 1:45 scale , and looking forward to seeing your work. There are a few narrow gauge modellers in the forum, plus plenty others always keen to offer help and advice - sometimes it may even be right Dive right in and ask away Paul
