A warm to clive_t from Dundee. Glad you decided to join us at platform1mrc, settle in and when your ready please introduce yourself to the forum, we'd love to hear about yourself and your modelling exploits. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Thanks for the welcome! Clive here, from Portsmouth. I guess like many I have dabbled in the more popular scales of railway modelling, (OO, N etc), although in my later years I was drawn to large scale, and specifically garden-scale railways. I started building a line out in my garden back in 2002, but over the past 5 or 6 years I have allowed it to decline, and be over-run by weeds, ivy and such like. This year, and with the very vocal encouragement of a 2-year-old (my grandson William) I have made a start on resurrecting it. In doing so I have resurrected my interest in railway layouts and railway modelling generally. So that's me! Cheers, Clive

Thanks for the replies, I guess I need to open up a new thread in the 'Members Personal Layouts' bit... Give me a moment and I will try and work out how to post pics! I have quite a few on PhotoBucket, so if it's that mechanism then I am halfway there. Cheers, Clive

ianvolvo46 wrote: Hi Ian - you are mostly correct, aside from the goats... I see from some other posts that goats are something of an interest of yours? Cheers, Clive
I'm glad you done your homework Clive otherwise confusion may have reigned. The goats are a bit of a forum mascot. ....... Just as well we don't take things too seriously here. a sense of insanity goes a long way. Cheers
Ah that's a relief, I was worried that my sense of humour might have singled me out - sounds like I will be all but going unnoticed
