A warm to InterCity72 from Dundee Glad you decided to join us here at platform1mrc, were a friendly bunch who love to blether, and sometimes even do a bit of modelling. Settle in and when your ready please introduce yourself to the forum, we'd love to hear about yourself and your modelling interests and adventures. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Thanks Paul I am located in Ontario, Canada and am modelling in OO. My time frame is roughly 1980-1994. Currently I do not have a proper layout, just an 8 x 4 sheet on a table with track. I have a 25ft x 14 ft room to work with but do not want to overwhelm myself so am thinking of something smaller and then go from there. Thanks for the add and look forward to chatting with you all and picking your brains. Regards Scott
G'day Scott, Welcome aboard from sunny Sydney. Great bunch of members here to answer any questions you may have, then again, you may be able to answer some questions from us ! Have a good look around, read up, cast your eyes over the great pics, but most of all, enjoy the banter that is P1MRC. Cheers, Gary.
Hi Scott, to the forum. I like the time period. get settled in then come back with a bit more about yourself and what you like doing most. Thanks for joining us, Toto
Hi Scott, welcome to the forum I enjoyed some trainspotting in Thunder Bay a few years ago, great country!! Cheers Ron
Hi Scott and from a cloudy Spain thats a sensible way of thinking not wanting to do too much too soon (unfortunately ambition overtakes most of us when we see new shinies for sale). Glad to have you on board. Ian vt
and Intercity 72 (Scott) to the fun of Platform1 from the Big land down under There's a bit for every one in the forums it will take you awhile to get though it all Post up some photos when you get a chance and I see you have already found the other hobby section Thanks for joining in the fun Again a Big Platform1
Thanks for the warm welcome chaps. While I am in Canada now I am a Brit, originally from Leeds, spent some time in Derbyshire, little town called Dronfield, worked in Sheffield. Moved around a bit as Dad was in the army. I'll get a thread up soon with some of my locos and rolling stock. Regards Scott
