    Thank you for your welcoming messages. I'm a retired railway civil engineer whose modelling interests in 0 gauge are twofold. I've probably spent most of my time in the hobby studying the railways of Germany before the 2nd World War and, more recently the locomotives of the LNER designed by Sir Nigel Gresley.
    Recently I have ventured into the world of CAD in both 2D (for etching) and 3D (for lost wax casting).
    I look forward to exchanging ideas and information on this forum.
