Hi Ruston and welcome to the forum from a wet and driery Edinburgh. I hope you enjoy your stay with us. Cheers for now Toto
Hello and a big thanks for accepting me as a member of the forum. I am a model railway virgin so please be gentle with me. My lovely wife bought me the Hornby R&H 48DS Army department for christmas. So I thought it's time to start planning a build to run my Ruston on. This build I will post in the layouts section of the forum.
Great stuff Rob. You could always put up a picture of the set to give us an idea of what comes in it. Paul_l ( our admin / mod ) was talking to me about possibly building a military train. He won one of our competitions with a conversion of an open wagon into a gun carriage. He's looking to expand on that and co plate a short train. Could be worth looking out for once he gets started. Also ..... look up one of our members " Jimmy styles " as he has a military theme layout on the forum. I'll need to re- fa militarise myself with it and lead you to it as it is quite something. It's name is Operation Abyss. You would find it in the layout section. Anyway, thanks for posting up and making yourself known. I hope you enjoy your stay with us and I look forward to following your build. Cheers for now Toto

Welcome to Platform 1 Rob, from another Rob When I saw your username I thought that you were an acquaintance who uses the name Ruston on a few forums but having read your introduction I realised that I was mistaken.
