Thanks Tany - most here would know me from YMR. I have been visiting a lot and I wanted to post some info so I had to join. For those who do not know me, I am another Aussie and have been involved in the hobby since 1958 - a few years missing with family but got real serious in 2000 when I became a widower.
Hi Sol, I had recognised you from elsewhere so knew It was save to let you in, as you know most here you will already be aware of the crazy antics they getup to. Looking forward to the reading the info you have to share David
Sol - see we even have translations Welcome to the madhouse, I know those that haven't had the pleasure of your knowledge and experience are in for a treat. Paul
Welcome aboard Sol. I agree with Paul's comment above. No, not the 'welcome to the nut house' bit, the bit about those who haven't seen your work, is definitely in for a treat ! Cheers, Gary.
Hi Sol, This is great news. Welcome onboard, delighted to see you here. You'll need to do a catch up for us. The last I saw, you had just done a couple of excellent scratch build buildings for a very awkward corner. Looking forward to seeing where you went from there. Again, great to have you here, Cheers Toto
Welcome aboard Sol, Good to see you here. I too have been 'peeking in the window' and following some very interesting odd shaped buildings being worked on. Hope you have time to give us an update ? Good to see you Cheers Matt
Ron to a place were we are all about having fun with model railways, There's no right or wrong way to do it as long as you are having fun whilst you are doing it. Politics round here is a something we post jokes about. I hope you can find something of interest in the mad house that is Platform1. We all love our model railways what ever scale/gauge or not, they maybe so come on in and have some fun.
Great news indeed Toto. Sol has made so many valuable and practical lessons to us on another forum for years. Welcome Ron and i look forward with the lads to your company.
My first thought was "Oh no, they'll let just anyone in!!". More seriously, welcome, Ron. It really is a small world. http://www.click
G`day Sol, Nice to have you onboard Sir. How are those great buildings of yours coming along.?? http://www.click Gormo
Thanks gents for the welcome but before we go too far, I joined mainly to give some info about EZYmate couplings. I may even find I can answer some other questions that may arise. The other threads of mine are just bare bones and I won't be adding to them - when I do updates, they will be in YMR and this allows anyone to read them, even Platform1 members.
No problem Sol, It's been good to hear from you regardless. Thanks for your interest whatever the level. Cheers Toto
