A very warm welcome to busman, we met at the Glenrothes show today and had a good chat with himself and his good lady. Were a warm friendly bunch here, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the banter. Paul
Hi Busman, to Platform 1. Delighted that you have decided to join us. have a good look around and get used to navigating the forum. Whenever you are ready, give us a shout by opening a thread and telling us a bit about yourself and what your plans are. You'll find the guys are modeling in all gauges and eras etc and will be interested in whatever you are about and more than willing to help out if you have any queries. I hope you enjoy your stay. again ...... welcome aboard. cheers Toto ( Tom ) the short one.
Thanks. for the welcome tom. Looking forward to the forum . Will let you and Paul know about any plans I have setting up my layout. Regards John🚂
Hi John, great stuff. Thanks for coming on and introducing yourself. You'll find your feet in no time. usually a good place to start is by giving an idea on scale, era, any particular area if its based on a real area. My layout is mainly ficticious although originally it started off based on " Roseburn shed " in edinburgh just along the road from Haymarket. It has changed so much now from what it was from the start that it may as well be on the moon now. As I said, dig in and get comfortable with the place and I am sure some of the other members will be along to welcome you in. The Australians waken up about midnight our time ......... lazy lot . cheers .... it was great to meet you. toto
G'day John, Welcome aboard. I take it that Toto and Paul must have been nice to you at the exhibition, otherwise you would not be here.. Get yourself settled in and have a read of some of the great posts that grace the pages. Looking forward to what you can bring to the table. Cheers, Gary (one of the lazy lot from Oz...data:image/png;base64,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)
