G'day all, Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I've been modelling the NSWGR, and UK on the side for about 12 years now, focusing on the steam era, and a bit of diesel era. I am presently building a UK outline shunting plank based on the Tewkesbury Quay branch on the Ashchurch-Malvern line in Gloucestershire, with a bit of adjustment to make it fit on a single garage shelf unit. On the NSWGR side of things, I am designing a layout and building a fleet for an NSWGR branchline/secondary mainline layout set between the late 1930s and early 1960s. Cheers, Evan Attached files
Great start Evan Two interesting projects Now you have worked out the forum start a build thread in the layout section then we can all follow along That plan will be good for some shunting
Hi Evan, Looks very interesting. Looking forward to some pictures of where you are with it. Nice start to the thread. Cheers Toto.

As requested here are some photos of progress so far on Tewkesbury Quay to date The space available for the layout, all 4ft by 2ft of it. A spot of compression, and removing a couple of tracks has given us a workable track plan. The sidings with the points and the single dead end are part of a fiddle yard hidden by the buildings for the backdrop Completed baseboard. The materials for this cost a grand total of $0.00, made from left over packaging materials from work
If space permits I would eventually like to expand the layout to include the station and loco depot as shown in this track plan. Tewkesbury Quay is off to the left hand side of the plan, and the junction with the Ashchurch-Malvern line to the right.
Great Start Evan R Start a build thread in the members layout section and we can all follow along and and it will keep you motivated looking forward to seeing this develop.
