Just put the lettering etc on one I built some time ago. It's not the best in the world but it runs fine. It's a Wills kit on a Hornby chasis that has been re-wheeled with correct size Romfords and the motor has been changed. Some time in the future (don't we always say that) it will go back into the paint shop and be stripped and repainted after the chimney has been replaced and hand rails fitted to the cab. (The chimney broke in half as I was drilling it out to take the chassis securing bolt).

Bye the way, the footplate doesn't droop, it's a trick of the camera. Perhaps the second time round I'll get the lettering straight as well.

That looks like a very solid heavy model. How's the pulling power?

Not tried it on a full load yet as my layout is buried under loads of junk at the moment. Hopefully in a short while I might well be able to sort it all out and give it a try. With the weight of the body and chassis it should be more than adequate for use on the layout, which is only 13 foot x 2 foot, so as long as it manages three coaches I'll be happy, but I'm sure it will do much more than that.
