    Renamed Rush City Yard to a BR mid 1960's Windrush Yard.
    New BR buffer stops fitted and one or two new wagons. (It's a start!)

    Bit of a revamp here, some of the backing removed and some track ordered.
    Going to extend to the width of the board and add an engine shed etc.
    Also adding a signal box at some point!

    That was interesting, wanted a piece of 18mm MDF to add on to the layout. I went to 2 local
    DIY stores and found I had to buy a much larger sheet than I needed to get the width I wanted
    (30cm). They wanted between £13 and £17! When I got home I went online to my local timber merchants,
    Smiths Timber in Newark. Ordered a piece already cut to size and ready tomorrow for £3.53 !!

    Windrush as was is no longer! Baseboards stripped and a new layout planned.
    I will still call it Windrush though.
