ACE LNER C12 in 7mm on its way

    I see from the etches that it was originally a McGowan models kit - not to be confused with Connoisseur (Jim McGeown).

    While I have heard good things of the C12 kit the McGowan LNER V1/3 tanks that it also with ACE is truly awful requiring a lot of work. So much so that I turned down a really cheap example.

    I'm sure the C12 had McGeowan on the etches as well. Maybe wrong, I can double check.

    Possibly not, as I said I know a guy who built a couple and he didn't report any issues. I will no doubt see him at Telford so I will make a point of asking him.

    C15 or C16 were the ex-NBR Atlantic tanks

    There were 5 C15's in service in 1957, the C16's were running until 1961
