Looks good, but it's missing a longer boiler, a sadle tank, a dome, a pair of cylinders.... It does look like Fowler has removed the boiler and cylinders replacing it with a small diesel engine and hood. See link : http://www.railuk.info/gallery/notes/getimage.php?id=664 Cheers, Gary.
Ah Gary, Tom's trying to break himself into O gauge slowly - the loco is no bigger than on OO gauge loco, so hopefully SWMBO wont notice the difference - until the bill hits the floor Nice model Tom
No more for me for the moment. I'm meant to be exercising restraint. Well .......... After my 0 - 4 - 0 kit from conno .....conna ..... Conne ......... Jim McGeowan arrives. Last one ......... Honest. Cheers Toto.

A confirmed rubber Gauger now And a Loco kit on the way. Really I don't think any of us will ever be invited over by Mrs Toto for fear that we may corrupt Toto further. "Honest your honour we put no pressure on the defendant, we only left photos on Platform1."
Yeah ........ and a couple of etched brass Low Mac's join the fleet. Wheels from Slaters. Luvly Jubbly toto
Hi I thought I'd revive this thread as the Fowlers I have will be my next decoder fitting victims. These should be posted up soon. I have been spurred into action by the posting of a terrific but subtle weathered version as posted up by one of our new members Derbys12. He also posted some equally impressive photo's of his Hudswell clarks which now kicks off another job for me ...... More decoder fitting. I'll do the usual photo's as I go. Wish me well. Toto PS ...... Thanks Kevin for the kick in the pants.

No worries .... It's been brewing for a couple of days now anyway. As soon as Luib bridge is ready for switching on ....... And all going well, that will be tomorrow, I will need DCC equipped loco's to run on it. So ..... 2 Fowlers, 1 Hudswell Clark and if the big beastie arrives ...... 1 class 25. This layout will progress faster than it's predecessors. Not that that's hard to beat.
On Sunday, bring a piece of flex approx 2ft, and a PCP panel, I should have enough MDF to make up an O gauge program track while you're here. Paul
Hi Toto, here's a little detailing job for your Fowler, a quick flick with some red paint makes a huge difference to the buffer shank appearance. There is sound in one of these models from "Tower models", the other model is going to be converted to a centre cab. Kim
Hi Toto Now you have an SB5 for the layout, you need UTP (Universal Track Panel) for the layout, however the SB5 has no program track facility, so you use the PowerCab to do that, so a PCP (Power Cab Panel) plus power supply is needed for the program track. This will make a stand alone program track, and if we lay a piece of OO and O gauge track side by side, you can use it any where for all your stock. Paul
Hi Kimbo, That's an easy one. Makes a bit of a difference as well in helping it stand out the bit further as well. The conversion ..... Now that's a bit scarier but I'll look forward to seeing that. Cheers Toto
