Oakamoor Sand sidings - An OO revival

I’ve had stashed away for nearly 18 months 2 of these ex Airfix Prestwin wagons now produced by Dapol. As the instructions state, it’s been updated with new metal wheels with pin points, but otherwise it’s not changed since it was introduced in the 1960’s. (was this ever a Rosebud Kitmaster model or was it a later addition by Airfix??)

apart from one or two minor details, it actually still makes quite a credible model. Ok so now we would likely have etch walk ways and ladders, but you know what? I’m not fussed by that..
