Y'see, soldering in the LED's isn't difficult Ron, just make sure you don't give 'em too much heat, cos' as Corporal Jones used to say, "They don't like it up 'em, Mr Mainwaring!" Keith.
I had to put my welding goggles on to watch that video Ron.!!!! Very effective... http://www.clickGormo
Ha ha!! Today I have been adding a Norfolk style rear wall and some fencing for the head shunt/crossing.Pleased with it so far but thinkinking about the back of the platform and whether a wall (8' or 4') would look right?? Cheers Ron
Thanks Tom, decided to try the platform wall, 24mm high (6'), quite pleased with it so far! Going to add some signs etc and tidy up any white edges and finish the ballasting over the weekend..
6ft looks spot on , 8ft would have been overpowering and 4ft too low. Belated congrats on PTOW mate, really well deserved! Pete.
The wall just looks "Right" heightwise, and the Norfolk 'Harling' finish is spot on, typical of the area. Keith.
'Harling' didn't know that Keith although I've been to East Harling the plague village near Thruxton racing track as I recall!
Couple of photo's after todays work; The end of the line! J15 running around at Sheringbourne Starting to fill the car park!
Absolutely Toto, Very nice indeed Ron. The whole scene on the railway is very good. I think the background really sets it off and it`s a pleasure to watch the railway develop. http://www.clickGormo
