Hi Ron Having followed the first build I think the standard of work on here is even better and many of those pictures have an air of realism about them, excellent work. The backscene is great too. jim
Hi Ron, fantastic photo's there. I think I smell a POTW coming on. very realistic scene there. terrific. cheers toto
Thanks Tom, I enjoy taking the photographs but I use them to check my modelling, a photo shows up things you just don't notice otherwise!! Tonight I have been ballasting the station head-shunt (with help!) Cheers Ron
Ah hah!!!! Now I know how you get so much done in so little time Ron..!! It`s de little people ( He says with an Irish accent)...dave been werkin` witch ya orl de time now, de crafty little beggars.????......Oy wreck org nize Murphy and Kelly down dare among dem workers. Ooh joost wayit till oy see dem again.!!! Love the signs and the cameos with the workers Ron. You`re right about the photography for checking ones work. I build something, think yeah, that looks good, take a pic and look at it and think, Oh no, how did I miss that.... Keep up the nice work Ron... http://www.clickGormo
I have an interesting query! First photo is of Sheringham and please note the position of the signal box. I decided to move it across the line to help block out the backscene join with the level crossing picture. But whilst ballasting that piece of track tonight, I moved the signal box to a new position (just out of interest!) and found it looked just right there!! So the question is, do I move it there and if I do then how do I cover the scenery joint from the original position.( There is also a signal box the otherside of the road bridge at the real Sheringham!!) Comments please?? Cheers Ron
G`day Ron, How would you go moving this bus shelter and building next to it, with associated greenery behind them, down closer to the crossing. By the way.....what a nice little place Sheringham is.!!! http://www.clickGormo
Congrats on photo of the week Ron a great Little cameo scene The layout is really coming together and getting that feel of a preserved line, the New shed must be comfy hideaway
Thanks Chris, still quite a bit to do but at least I can have operating sessions now! Putting together some timetables based on the real line, a 'normal' day, a steam weekend and a diesel weekend, so scratching my head a bit!!
