    Had a bit of time on my hands today...? .. this week..? .. all month..? .. 2017 .. so I decided to kit bash the Dapol water tank for my plonk ... I its original form I was far too big for my use so along with some spare parts of an old foot bridge I cobbled this together...

    Its the same kit Ron but I had to reduce it by a 2/3rds and change the supporting girders. I reckon it'll look better than the signal box and it will give some sort of reason for a loco to be standing there .. still needs a water crane and weathering.

    I`ve got one of those to build as well. I`m going to replace the Superquick card one near my engine shed.

    It scrubs up pretty good when I look at your efforts.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

    With a bit of weathering .. just the groundwork to do then fasten the track prior to pract ... test run

    A bit of tarting up ..a fence and just a quick brush of weathering paint to go .. much neater and not so crowded ..

    Just catching up with your thread Ian and that is some great work on the water tower and the scene in general. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

    Much impressed with the water tank, looking at the relation in size of it to the rest of the model, I reckon it would also work in O scale as a light rail/branch/industrial/single road engine shed type tank, I will have to draw up some plans for one, may never get to use it but it will make a nice project.
