    Cheers Pete.. I found the plastic reasonably easy to cut .. I measured it then scored it with a stanley knife and snapped it.

    Mini plonk (diorama) within a plonk virtually complete with wall now fitted (just got rusty gates to paste on) and water crane repositioned (it was fouling when stowed) .. its been an interesting diversion

    Well done on POTW another worthy scene. I'll look at it again as soon as I've mopped up the blood. I've been playing with Lulu........ She won.

    A very worthy PotW Ian, but I'd also like to say it should be classified as 'Best Mini Diorama Of The Year' !

    Ok now back on the main plonk .. upper level pount control handle sorted as per Gary's idea (overflow pipe) .. coal store for boiler house done (real coal) and shot of the now 'finished' upper level 3d backscene thingy in stowed position .. rest of arches to glue then tinto ...

    Arches in place trusses cappings etc to add then upper level flat backscene to complete before securing track and test runs. Not much modelling for a few days as suprise visitor tomorrow.

    A slightly disguised wall under the top layer goods shed/ ater tank .. the gap under the drop down section needs to be there by design but I can live with that ..
