Nice Paul. I purchased one a year or so ago and I'm impressed with the level of detail and the quiet running. Cheers, Gary.
Paul is away to his sons stag do today. I hope he remembers to take some weathering powders with him as he could be a little rusty at keeping up with them. Don't know if you get Donner kebab coloured powders to rub into his jacket. Enjoy Paul.
Off road racing followed by a curry then beer - no pressure on me, just on the others, the stigma of been beaten by an apprentice pensioner, that could scar them for life - it certainly will do by the end of the night I've got two of the 4MT's now, and with them only having pickups on the drivers, I think I will try some of the Lais decoders with stay alives. As for the V2, without major surgury I think the best option will be a tender install (also add extra weight to the tender as well. Ah well time to prep for this afternoon - snooze followed by very strong coffee - reheated mixed kebab for lunch Paul
I'm alive !!! Survived, the reheated kebab, off road racing and the curry ..... peaked too early on the racing and set my fastest time in the second heat. I did hear someone mention there was a brake pedal - never found on my car - some would say I wasn't going fast enough to need one , however on the vertical drop I reckon the brake should have been fitted to the seat, as my buttocks were certainly clenched . Well back to the real stuff - ordered up some Laisdcc decoders with stayalives to see how they go. The V2 is well run in, so will start and look at stripping it down - probably in another thread. Paul
Having to disassemble the layout, for my Mum coming up for the young lads wedding. But while playing with the 3D printer I've had a go at making chimneys - Octagonal ones at that. Then with a coat of Humbtol Matt Grey Primer (Matt 01), brushed on. Just placed in position Also used some of the insulators I made up for the V2 on the front small building. Paul

Leave Pauls parts out of this. I think he should stick to the back to back gauges and chimneys thank you.
Or Bombers Bits - , maybe get the wrong sort of customers Layout relocated and the bed relocated in preparation for my Mum's visit in two weeks. Assembled the two scenic boards, but not enough room for the fiddle yard. But should allow me to progress with the buildings along the back of the layout. Paul
