    A question of the experts

I have been trying to create a .stl file of this simple body:

    What is generated is this:

The part I am interested is the small rectangular structure bottom left. What's happening, this same thing has happened with another project?
To answer the obvious questions, I have tried to create the .stl multiple time each produces the same result and there are definitely no other bodies visible during the process, I have even closed Fusion 360 completely and reopened it before generating one of the test.

I would suggest moving it away from the main body before trying to create your STL. I have instances where I thought that they were adjacent but they actually marginally overlapped causing it to join even though it was set as a separately body. It was quite frustrating until I worked out what was happening.

    Hi Rob,

Certainly worth a try but ..... Moved it 50mm left, deleted existing stl and recreated it.

In that case I have no idea. The only other suggestion that I can make is take a copy and delete all the other bodies aside from the one that you need.
