This is coming along rather nicely Ian. Looking forward to scenery and what you have in mind. I was thinking, you wouldn't really need the brick base on the signal box since it is platform mounted. If it was stand alone, yes the brick base would be warranted. Cheers, Gary. ps, Rule #1, it's your railway !
Cheers Gary mate ref the bricks/stone it came with the Metcalfe kit but see what you mean ... y'know what I think I've got some weathered clapboard somewgere Ian vt
Ok so here we go again plan whatever g or h or ... anyway clap boarded the lower half of the signal box. i tried it without any base but it looked too low ... anyway to me it looks much bette like thisr, cheers Gary. I also made a water crane out of a piece of plastic sprue that I'd hoarded (don't we all) ... 3ft rule applies
I Just built the Creamery in 00 scale. Glad I didn't have to make in in N scale. Very interested to see your slant on it.
i've had to reduce the height so the company sign is lower and I've placed the windows further back to give it more depth in appearance . .. still got bare edges to do with pencil ... 3' rule applies not a lot of mods but it suits the case layout ... thanks for your comments
still more to do ... not sure if I'm going to use the Dairy as it is or convert it to grey stone ....??? ....bit of a townscene to add on
Yep I agree, I think the dairy needs toning down a bit, to make it fit in with the rest of the scene. Love what you've done with the Windows.
