Looks good Ian. Good choice on the sheppard, as if you chose a sheep, it would probably run away as the train approaches, switching the points on the way, causing a major derailment !! Cheers, Gary.
Shepherd's a bit dodgy Gary, likes his 'black sheep' beers and acts a bit daft with a 'speckled hen' Ian http://www.click
I like that very much., excellent job. For your first attempt at weathering, I can assure you you ain't doing anything wrong. Keep showing your weathered models off as you progress through them. Cheers, Gary.
2 more weathering projects. I'll post images as I go along so comments welcome as I go. Attached files
Had a go at weathering a cattle truck reasonably pleased 3' or 4 tinto rule applies. Started of with a black wash followed by a dust wash then dabbed with a tissue finally rust on chassis and body straps. Sorry it's not being shown step by step but I'm a messy painter and my mobile gets covered in paint. Attached files
The 'Toad' (I'm guessing) and cattle truck, quite happy they both work together, same method as previous. Attached files
Still raining so diversified and painted some white metal figures, eventually all the figures on the layout will be similar. Attached files
