I’ve recently done some 3D scans of my son.

this shows the 3D scan which needed a little clean up to make in to a model. D148F286-0DFA-4A54-95CD-FF09BBC19B50.jpeg
    And then when cleaned up..

So my son as an air cadet is now forever recorded in OO and O.. once I paint it!

What Scanner are you using to capture the subject?

One question why are you supporting the hands I would not support them myself as they are attached to his trousers.

I’ve done a separate posting and will look to expand on it.
But it’s Metascan on my iPhone.

That's the hard part creating the figures is easy and started to add things in blender as well so making progress in between working on the electrics for the layout.

I seem to have missed a bit? How did you draw the persons in the first place? Or are they done else where?

Andy we use MakeHuman a free software package well worth exploring and with blender posing can be altered as well.

I’ve been using this method to modify some parts I have but when I removed the cube it’s leaving open holes where parts of the model were, as if the model is hollow and not solid. I only have the knowledge o Blender from your video. Any idea how to repair? Or make solid?

Hi Andy I did not see any issues when I did it in the video. You will notice I use PrusaSlicer to fix the stl and that may have closed any open faces. You can use the fill face in blender. I have not done that part.

I will have a look and play around.
Went to do the second file to edit and nothing happens. It either deletes the cube and not the part it should or the whole part goes with the cube? Something is not going right with this one. (And yes still doing it the same way as you have shown… it’s very strange!)
