    Just catching up on your thread and wondered if your track laying plans had been scuppered (nautical term!) because of the pandemic lockdown.

    Hi Clive, yes the 'deadline' has somewhat 'sunk without trace' since we 'battened down the hatches' I seem to spend more time doing less! however, when i get a post like yours it actually sort of makes me want to get stuck in ... :scratchchin: mmmmmm thanks for enquiring :thumbup:

    Sorry everyone, I've been absent on the modelling front what with virus thingy, book writing etc, ... however I'm getting the building bug again ... in a box in my wardrobe lies everything n' scale i need to complete the build ... track, locos n wagons, building kits electrics (point motors, magnetic un-couplers, new guagemaster controller) so .... here's a modified trackplan .. its not prototypical as its a fun playthi ... ? ... serious exercise in logistical locomotive /oceanic distribution of wharves .. ? .. the plan V

    I'm guessing that the top coal/water siding is for locomotives only ? It looks like there is limited space to shunt an open wagon into that siding.

    Okay its been a while so ... I decided to simpliy my plonk ... hopefully it will re-energise my modelling mojo ... its now a shunting puzzle (i thin) what do you reckon ... should the canning factory be swapped with the goods depot ...
