Great job on the backdrop. Shades of the impressionists? Evocative of Monet?

Just a question did you paint it in the bedroom while the mrs was out and did you need a glass or two of tinto to steady your hand?

    Cheers

Cheers Cameron :avatar::avatar: it was actually painted in the living room after I'd given the other 5/8ths a few glasses of tinto.

Scalescenes goods shed/wagon repair shed part built. Its a terrific build and very strong. I've omitted to fit the larger buttresses on the side loading platform entrance mainly due to space restrictions.

Looks good Ian, are the windows printed? I have the same kit downloaded and was thinking of buying the Brassmasters etched windows until I saw how much they cost. Any chance of a closer look round the shed please?

    Cheer's, Pete.

Hi Pete the front Windows are acetate but the rear windows are the printed ones as once the roof is on and various gubbins are scattered on the platform they will hardly be seen. I'll post up some photos shortly.

Bridge, Shed and grounded Hornby 4 wheel coach (bothy) in situ to test for space ... next backscene to fit at r/h side then cork to level up traverser/scenic board followed by track laying. Visitors arriving Sat so not sure how much I'll get done.

Thanks for the reply Ian, the shed looks well now in place .

I will try the acetate window method, and as you say, the printed ones look good at the rear.

    Cheer's, Pete.

I was looking at your previous pic yesterday and thought that there wasn't enough travel within the base board frame side walls. Alas you have made cut aways in the side walls !

Will the deck be a single track or will it have more ??

    Cheers, Gary.
