    Moving on at a pace Ian. That set of points looks very close to the inside edge of the tunnel. Might just be the angle the shot was taken at. Looking good though.:thumbs:

    I don't think the points are fixed yet Toto. The first pic in the series you can see the points are centred to the tunnel. ;)

    Cheers gents http://www.click all comments appreciated, just a single track on the deck Gary with 2 tracks onto the scenic board. Ref the points clearance they will be further towards the cenfre of tbe bridge.

    Finished the streamlined version made from bits I had left over from my main plonks ... er ... might need a Toto stop on the end 0

    Since this is a non scenic bit, you could get away with just screwing a large screw part way in or a small 'L' shaped bracket, to stop anything going off the end.

    Take up less room than the buffer stop Ian.

    Just a thought.

    Scenic board marked out for points/track.. next part cut grooves for point control rods (knitting needles)

    slots cut so off to Chinese tomorrow for knitting needles and chalk board (hardboard) for r/h side backboard and front.

    Component parts gathered for the point control 2 x 4mm needles.. 4 x 2mm needles & 8 x small picture hangers (€2.30 ..or.. £2 total.

    Hi Ron

    a. The 4mm needle I cut to length to make a tube.

    b. The 2mm needle is cut to make a rod.

    The picture hanger is opened up as a clamp and the wire part straightened to an L shape and Superglued inside the 2mm needle to go through the point.

    Great idea Ian. Doubling the traverser up as a knitting Machine ........ Two rows pearl, four rows plain ........ Clever :scratchchin:
