Anyway, how’s the layout progressing? Hopefully better than mine.
Going very well thanks Andy.. NB3DM, Ham?? I'm G0IBI since 1987 although quiet at the moment except 2m's ..
Well I work in radio, but that call sign is Mike Two November Hotel.
No, it’s Northern Bridge 3D Models.
Wondering what to put on top of this tunnel and have killed 2 birds with one stone after deciding to put 3 sidings there and using it for extra storage!!
A tunnel mouth at the other end would look good.
This is the other end Jim..
Sorry Ron, I meant on the siding level next to what looks like a water tower.
A tunnel above a tunnel?
You must be from wales!
If Toto can put a tunnel above a tunnel, anyone can...
laying some grass etc this afternoon..
Do you think that the single skin of brick work will hold up that railway...??
The layout is looking good Ron with the extra ground coverings.
No Gary, you're right. But the 3" x 2" plank underneath will do!!
Remembering how Sheringbourne was before the competition!
and as it is now (in this corner)
The railways normally clear hills and/or make cuttings. Your engineers have put the whole hillside back !
Looking good Ron, keep up the great work and throw a little Southern on board...
I like the touch of the smoke coming out the tunnel mouth.
The beauty of Photoshop.
Signalling now done, just a tidy up and some details to add before the end of the month.
Really impressed with the additions to the layout Ron
One of most creative additions is the extra storage above the tunnel really looks the part and is super useful what you lost from storage on the original layout before modifying has been gained back very creatively.
Have enjoyed watching the changes occurs
And ..... I'm delighted to announce that Ron wins the competition for keeping us updated with his layout thread update.
1 NCE powercab will be on its way ..... well done Ron.
As usual .... PM me with you full postal address and I'll get it off to you when I get down the road on Saturday.
