The bridge overlays added today plus some more scenics along the Torcombe branch

I’ve been sent these GWR water cranes from ModelU to have a look at, They are superb, plug and socket construction ( no glue used yet ) 3 different variations on offer plus a fire devil.
Suffice to say I know where my GW shed project water cranes are now coming from

 

We replaced a pair of flat bottom track panels yesterday as we had a nasty dip,
Luckily the printed track plan wasn’t damaged so I cut the webbing out of a length of Peco flexi and moved the sleepers to the correct position, a few timber sleepers used on the end. Ably assisted by Rog and Rob who held the Torcombe board up in place so I could grab some pics, this is the first time the whole layout has been assembled although this section wasn’t bolted on.
I planted some more trees to fill out the man planted forest whilst a pannier heads south with sewage pipes for Torcombe.

Intentio coal stage progressing well

 

I’ve been making up a brick hard stand for canton and the little show display has been shortened in height and the rail laid

 

The show case now has track weathered and LED strip lighting fitted, Pontycwm is now in the trestles for completion and today I’ve ballasted my dads new Bewdley layout

 

Back working on St Stephens bank today, ballasted the last section of main line, planted more trees, bushes and hedgerows. plus got some more pics out in the sun of the Torcombe branch.
