    This is one of my layouts and the pic is from the Epping Model railway Exhibition at Rosehill Gardens last year. Generally I'll ask for help over the weekend to operate layouts, talk to the public about the layout and to also promote Platform 1 MRC. This year I will be taking an incomplete O gauge (British) to the exhibition. If you are in Sydney on the weekend of the exhibition, please come and say hello. We can chat about a getting you onboard for the 2020 exhibition.

    The paint is factory. All I had done to get these results was to give the model a good dusting of white to tone the black down. Then it was a dab of rust and light grey here and there to highlight the smoke box, firebox and a few other areas. ;)

    Well folks, it's time to say good bye to Tomlins Creek...

    Tomlins Creek is on the move to a new location in Newcastle. A friend has bought it off me and I will be delivering it to him tomorrow afternoon/evening.

    I had a blast building this layout and soon it will be incorporated into a larger set up, an 'around the walls' shelf NSWGR/SRA layout. The NCE power cab panel has been removed, the old EMRC badge from the exhibition is gone (I'm keeping that as a memento) and it's currently in the back of my car as I write this.







    Goodbye old friend.... ;)

    Great layout...soon to be loved again by another train fan. Better than it sitting under a pile of dust.
    now you can buy more train stuff.

    G'day Craig,

    This layout now resides in Newcastle. A friend purchased this off me and it has been incorporated into his shelf layout.

    I'll be posting up a video soon with a video pictorial of its build to its final resting place in Newcastle.
