I'm guessing Toto always wanted to have a secretarial department at his disposal! Seriously though - congrats to Paul from York on the promotion - and to all of you here for having created a really pleasant place to hang out and talk about trains. An intoxicating blend of friendly old school banter, micro engineering genius, seriously enviable modelling skills and sound technical advice on so many matters. Couldn't ask for more! Very inspiring.
That's very kind of you to say so dpaws and thanks for the nice comment ... yes if the truth were known Dundee Paul got an Admin role because Toto recently purchased a very large Intentio engine shed kit which is also very heavy and he needed someone to carry it to shows for him
....in the hope that he may stumble across someone who would actually build it?? (hehe best behave myself else I'll be put on tea making and postal duties!) We love you Toto!!!!
Yes ....... gullibleness also qualify's as an entrance quality for promotion....... and he's got it by the bucket load .....
Worry not Toto - I see only a perfectionist's implementation of the the 5 P's – Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance!!
Hi Paul Is there any chance you could work your moderating skills and moderate the persistent rain falling here in Hull. Cheers in anticipation Mike
I'll do me best Mike... hang on just a sec whilst I turn the weather magnet on... yes its working ... rain is absolutely slapping it down in Pocklington now.
When Toto first proposed the idea for creating our own forum, one of the goals was to make it feel like the bothy at a model railway club, where the banter and interchange of ideas, skills and experience, it's good to hear that were on the right track. All joking aside, Paul will make a great addition to the team, both with his skills, knowledge and willingness to help and demonstrate these skills is already an asset to the forum. Better not say much more, otherwise he'll need a bigger monitor to fit ahead on for the Skype lineup Paul
