I have used these drawer slides for a couple of traversers myself, set up right they are excellent. The first one worked great, the second, if I didn't pull square, would lock up and if I wasn't careful the rolling stock would all fall over. As I had glued and screwed the thing up I couldn't dismantle it so had to build a new one :bleep6: .

Drawer sliders fitted and work well .. probably won't motorize it after all as it's much easier to work/control manually.

Thanks Toto yes Ron it's a pinboard (€5) cork on one side and
corrugated cardboard on the other. Quite firm and easy to cut when I sink my point co trolls in. Haven't found cork here yet.

Great backscene Ian, there appears to be a small step in the base covering where it is joined, I hope it doesn't cause any problems when you come to track laying mate. :scratchchin:

Thanks Pete ref the step it's more of an optical illusion caused by the masking tape but the track will be on (painted) foam ballast which tends to even out minor imperfections . . says I ... anyway if that doesn't the tinto will

Hole cut out for double track/road bridge to fiddleyard and test fitted with template. This will be scalescrenes with a combination of brick and steel and brick wing walls.
