It's the small details that make the difference... very nice.

Looking forward to seeing the 9F.

Excellent detail work Steve , the Modelu figures are really good too, the driver and firemen in Chris Kleins shunters are very lifelike.

    Cheers, Pete.

Looks like you're on the straight and narrow now. Or should that be 'the straight and standard gauge'...?? Those sleepers in the six foot look as if they have been soaked in creosote ! Nice and oily looking.

    Cheers, Gary.

Very nice Steve, seems a shame to hide the turntable behind the buildings.

Where is the turntable from Steve. Wouldn't be a metalsmiths one by any chance ?

It is a pity that it's hidden but that's how the prototype was and I want to be as faithful to the real place as possible.
It was a metal smith but it's been heavily reworked since then with a lot of scratch building of parts.

Thought I recognised the MDF well and maybe a passing resemblance to the actual bridge deck.

    Nice

New loco for RB arrived today in The form of a Dapol 08. I purchased the unnumbered option as I wanted to model D3032 which was one of four allocated to old Oak common in 1958.
