Lump hammer/minor persuation... Chasing the grand kids around the yard with a large hammer ?? Maybe just asking them politely may yield results... Cheers, Gary.
Raining today so been adding a bit of detail to cheer me up (well it is the 4th time this year) Attached files
Hi Ian, Fourth time eh ....... You must be gutted. Nice detailing. Such a lot to look at. Excellent stuff. Toto
Prior to starting on the station baseboard I've tided the trackplan up by removing a siding from the rear of the platform. This removes 1 point and won't affect the 'play' potential too much. Varnishing the board today with corkboard on tomorrow. Ian Attached files
Exciting day ahead ... it's track testing on the first half of my 'plonk' ... so ... track rubber at the ready... tinto to steady the nerves .... breakables out of reach and off we go! Controller is an old H&M Duette (the other 5/8ths might get me a Guagemaster for my birthday if I make all the right noises 'yes dear' 'hairs nice dear' 'you look slim today dear' ... er ... probably not the last one .... minefield innit). 2 loco's running both 0 6 0 Attached files
Hi Ian Enjoy yourself, er sorry, ensure you take a methodical approach to all testing, remembering that each test must be repeated several times to ensure compliance. I still use my Duette for a 16Vac supply for my points, just thinking of it, it must be around 45years old, the only thing done to it was to replace the mains cable - it was too short. Paul
Thanks Paul, you are correct of course so I shall carry out the tests in a prototypical manner ... only I'll be substituting mugs of brew with glasses of tinto. Ian
Just make sure you dont get stopped, you dont want to get done for driving a train while tight http://www.click Paul
