That would be good, I do want to exhibit this layout and the cassette fiddle yard option is proving a bit of a head scratcher at the moment! I have a plan but fitted in to a roundy would be great! Attached files
And in the crane its self, I still need to add Cowans Sheldons transfers and repaint the black roof Attached files
Looking good ....... More photo's please. Something to give an idea of scale would be good. not asking much am I Cheers Toto
Heljan GUV, on opening the box I knocked a pane of glass out so I had to strip it down, whilst I had it in pieces I gave the body sides a coat of clear satin as the factory finish was very dull!! I then gave the roof a coat of dark dirt and the under frame a light coat. I might change the bogies in the future but it will do for now. Attached files
Ah !! No that's a bit of code 83 as I was testing my American HO scale locomotive!! It's surprising what a bit of satin varnish can do to a mat paint finish, I think it does look a lot better now.
The Heljan GUV looks great, but the scratch built Newspaper Van is superb. A lot of time and patience has gone into this model. Cheers, Gary.
