    Not being a GWR man, and considering the lineage of the Stanier loco's, I have to admit that the Halls in black was not a good image, Halls should be Green and Black 5's should be well, black.

    Beautiful pictures Steve, hopefully the photo shoot went well, certainly wouldn't be for lack of effort.

    Went very well Paul, thanks. It will be a few weeks away yet but I'm looking forward to seeing Chris's pictures.

    The hall belongs to a friend of mine, I believe it's from a Malcolm Mitchell / JLTRT kit

    Thanks again all, Severn tunnel is safely stored away so this week it's back to work on the warship conversions. This next one is for s friend of mine and the current owner of Cardiff Canton. I'm also going to strip D845 and repaint her. That one didn't come out as good as D806 and I tried to disguise it with weathering but I want her a lot cleaner as she was in 1961.
