It really looks ..... and sounds something Ron. some great little touches as well which just goes to complete the scene. keep up the good work Sir.
I can't believe how easy you guys make it look. You say it ...... Then just do it and it always seems to come out top dollar. I lose sleep just thinking about taking the plunge but that's all changing. I am up for anything ( well almost ) at the moment. Maybe slow but I will be going for it and if it doesn't quite make the grade ...... Well at least I've tried. Both your major shed builds have turned out top drawer stuff. A pleasure to see and a great inspiration for ideas. Keep it coming .... Especially the landscaping and ground cover. I'm in the market for that st the moment. Cheers Toto.
Love the way it has developed so far Ron but to save depth how about some cut out houses etc stuck on the back wall ..
Thats a thought Ian!! 3 tracks between the arches and the back wall, might need some lateral thinking! I have been adding drainpipes and some greenery but not too much as the arches are not glued down yet. I need to spray them ready for the ballast going down later.
Been ballasting the branch station area today. I sealed the platform and retaining wall with a clear, matt paint spray then used the ballaster and glued it all down.. Just leave it all to set now! Cheers Ron
Good to see you have the little people lending a hand Ron, I wish mine would get their lazy backsides out of the box and lend a hand. All looking good so keep up the great standard. Jim
Very nice Ron. Did you get your ground signals from " we honest " on tinternet ? Cheap as chips from memory. Has the NCE been put through its paces yet ? Cheers Toto. You can join the NCE club now ( very secretive club, don't tell anyone ). Cheers Toto
Yes to the signals, 5 for £9.15! I'm putting the Power cab through it's paces and enjoying it!May have 1 or 2 questions later though!! CheersRon
No worries, I'm sure the answers will be forth coming. I'll look forward to seeing the signals in action. I think they add a lot to the realism of the layout whether working prototypically or otherwise. I have the same for Luib bridge. I'll be interested to see how you wire them in. Seperate BUS for your accessories maybe ? Cheers Toto
2 of them will be linked to points using a Cobalt AD-S2sx decoder and 2 others using a Train-Tec signal decoder. Jobs for the weekend I think. Getting on OK with the Power Cab even got some routes set!! Cheers Ron
I'm impressed. Route setting on day1. Show off. good to hear your getting to grips with it. Now ...... Consists. ....... Carry on. Toto
Did I hear Ron say that he was going to do a step by step tutorial on route setting on teh NCE Powercab...?? Cheers, Gary. ps, nice new handset.
