2 ground signals fitted on the MPD exit, they are point controlled. (I have added another resistor now as I thought they were a little too bright!)
Didn't take long to get your head around your new DCC controller Ron! I also found it easier to link colour light signals to point positions, using Seep PM1's with the secondary set of switching contacts make doing that a 'doddle'! Keith.
The Sheringbourne disco has opened, although a mirror ball wouldn't go astray... Cheers, Gary. ps, looks great.
Today (apart from undercoating skirting boards ready for the decorator tomorrow!) I have been mostly dealing with signals (coloured light type). Whilst reading up on signalling on BR I noticed a signal on the layout that was wrong. The signal on the left should only be a ground signal, so I changed it. This gave me a spare Home signal which I added as a Holt platform starter! I also added a ground signal for the station headshunt. All working fine, I added a Macro which turned all the signals to Red, very handy! Cheers Ron
Nice work Ron. Good to read that you have been doing your homework on the 'Operations of Signal on the BR Network'... Cheers, Gary.
Finally got the colour light signal I wanted for Sheringbourne station. It's a new Train Tech home signal with a RH feather!Operated from the Power Cab. See photo's below: Happy now
Quite right Ron. Have the day off with a well deserved beer. too hot for working. Enjoy the weather whilst you have it. Toto
Never mind Ron, Wednesday is the longest day and the nights will start drawing in then. After that, downhill all the way to Christmas Ed
