Beautiful signal boxes, permanent way hut and rolling stock. I thought my old Lima O gauge stock looked ok. Your rollingstock makes the Lima stock very, very entry level... Cheers, Gary.
I'm sure your detailing and weathering skills will soon put that to right a Gary. Another how to maybe. Cheers Toto
Top work Steve very inspiring. Keep the photos coming Buildings are the one part of the hobby that I struggle with, Brass loco's, chassis builds, wiring, track work, etc no problem, Timber and card for a building and I just don't get on with it. Looking at your work makes me want to get into building another structure but I realy struggle with making a start even a kit building. I guess we all have bits of the hobby that we enjoy or specialise in and structures are certainly something that you do well. Keep them coming I need the inspiration.
Here's my Heljan Hymek D7022 & Western D1000 Western Enterprise. Both heavily detailed models using mainly castings from JLTRT and some parts from Pete Harvey. The Hymek was the biggest job of the two with most of the detail being around the bogie areas. Attached files
I had Pete Harvey etch up these Timken axle box covers for me, they are now part of his etch step detail set. A nice addition This year should see a few Heljan warships across the work bench and Falcon very soon Attached files
Out with the weathering powders this evening to give Falcon a light dusting mainly around the bogies with a little on the body side & roof. Once I'm satisfied I will seal it with dull coat Attached files
