Just like the real thing Banana van kit. This will form the nucleus of my Barry dock to Paddington banana train. If your looking to start in O I cannot recommend these kits enough. Just wheels and transfers to complete. Attached files
You won't be dissapointed they are Great kits. There's lots of variety in the van types as well as other wagons. The new press twins look fabulous.
The first item for Hillfield Tunnels / Gaer Junction ( Newport South Wales ) The owner of Intentio designs sent me some samples and I found a picture of a 15MPH speed restriction sign close to one of the tunnel mouths. Attached files
Steve (and the other O gauge guys), not sure if I have asked before, but it will also be for Tanygaer's benefit, what weight do you aim for in your finished wagons ? Paul
The Regent tanks are now up to 10 strong making a nice train, I want to double it now plus a brake van. This should make a nice train for my forth coming Gaer Junction exhibition layout Attached files
Hymek plus 21 waqgons, would be some size in 4mm never mind in 7mm. You will almost feel the ground move. Paul
Steve, You have plenty of time as there is a close forth coming http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-35857118
Hopefully it will be with its new owner by then, looks like I might be doing Severn tunnel west for him next year for the opposite side of his garage. Track feeds all in today and tested, weathered with rail match sleeper grime and the sand and ballast is on board one. Not a bad days work.
Steve Fay wrote: It never goes far in 7mm dose it Steve and always discover the pots empty just as you get on a roll with a new section. Quick question what are you using for the ballast ?? Is it a comercial or home brew??
Steve Fay wrote: Hi Steve, these Tank wagons look so good.....you've twisted my arm, I've ordered two Kim
Ahhhhh ....... Can't resist the temptation ........ Know the feeling ...... There is a condition for that you know.
This is Dapols latest 7mm offering and it's very good to. You won't be dissapointed the tanks are lovely
