We have working signals at Moonan Flats
I got a bit of time to play signals tonight, the bit I wasn't looking forward too, the under board part lucky the layout is quite high and I could sit on a low stool to install a bracket for the return springs and a couple of eyelets for the wire guide
Mount the 2 levers connect the link and tested amazingly it worked first go.

Link to YouTube video of the working signal.

:giggle::giggle::giggle: and Gary thinks he's going for a weekend of R&R

if Gary wanted anything in particular from a supplier or shop in UK he should order and pay for it before going Less VAT and arrange to pick up whilst there.

:scratchchin: Make sure you have an empty bag Gary I'll put in my order now for you to pick up :giggle::giggle::giggle: You will only need a T shirt and a clean pair of pants, so there will be plenty of room for a couple of 08's well wagons etc Gary trust me, it won't be cold  that's the time of year it warms up for us :giggle:

Ha $30 is quite reasonable in our money esp to U.K.

It cost me near that much to send a small box of train bits to Sydney last week from my place and it's only a one hour journey

The Big loco as Center piece on the table for train Night at Moonan Flats
    After months I again have a Live steam 1/32 scale C38 No3801
Long story, short version the first one I received has several mechanical / engineering defects that would have required a complete strip down to rectify. Something not acceptable when purchasing a New model of this Type.

This new one look like it's a well built model, unlike the last one it was a "A Friday Build" you may say.
The radio control gear worked first go so it is now a matter of steaming it up seeing if all is good.
