It's my Grandads 90th Birthday tomorrow, He was a life long Railwayman and still has a passion for Railways both real and model. I decided to get him a book made up of some of my modelling projects. My wife had a smaller book made of our holiday snaps from our trip to Florida over Christmas and it's a great way to keep your pictures.
This larger 11" X 8" book arrived today and it's superb.
It's done by Freeprints by Photobooks, you can down old the App.
Highly recommended, It would be a great portfolio for business use.

Great gift Steve, I'm sure he will be really pleased to receive it. I did a couple of smaller versions one with the children's school pictures covering their school years, for my mother's Xmas present. kim

Hi Steve, did this 08 come without numbers? or have you removed the factory ones? if the latter, how did you get them off? I want to renumber mine to reflect one at Barrow Hill shed and add shed plates either 18D (pre 1958) or 41E (post '58), where did you get your's from?

    Cheers, Pete.

    Hi Pete,
This was an unnumbered model, I used Fox individual numbers. The shed code plate is from Severn Mill nameplates.
You could try a small amount of T Cut on a cotton bud to remove the factory printed numbers or a very sharp scalpel and gently scribe them away. If you intend to weather it that should hide any marks that may be made

Castings have arrived, I've added the front life guards and steps plus some pipes, I've cut off the moulded pipes on the Buffer beams and cleaned up the area and given it a coat of paint. Still needs a few more then the remaining pipes can be added.
