Nice little Sentinel there and the open wagons look good. Did you weather these yourself or were they pre weathered ?

    Ian, like your thinking

At least you got what's going on I was think it was only Paul that had picked up on the plan:giggle::giggle::giggle: as had no other bites :scratchchin:

Progress made tonight found box of Points only have one 3way I did have 2 of these but I probaly gave the other one away so have made some major changes now I have 5 points instead of the 3 planed I think it may work out better this way as will possibly look more believable for the compact space

List of what I have fitted in on the plan and yes it actualy all fits have placed the points down on the plank and checked

    1-Single track old Steam shed,
1-second steam loco sevice track Coal/water etc.
Steam facility's will fit minimum 4 0-6-0 ST, more if using 0-4-0's
1- W-A-S-P ne'sT o O Or New shed (diesel loco) may just fit two small diesels.
3 siding for coal loading area will fit 4 wagons each
Head shunt will fit 3 wagons with 0-6-0. 4 wagons with 0-4-0
Staging / Fiddle track, off scene, fits loco with 4 wagons but I will make provisions for an extention after the compertition so trains can run to a small Fiddle yard to reduce handeling on and off the layout whilst changing trains
It's a lot in a small space nightmare to wire as all the points are well over 30 years old and were never designed to be DCC :hammer: friendly only the 3 way may be less than 20 years old may be I should just build as a DC to run the non DCC Locos on.

:facepalm:The plank is really small when you start to populate it with track and then the planed scenic ideas make it an even smaller area going to need some major compression of the structures and may be some perspective modelling to fit it all in

I haven't been able to get to the PC to do a Anyrail plan will see what I can do ASAP:avatar:

    Chris,

I had no chance of picking up on the hints you were dropping.

My idea of a transition period layout at the moment is going from not having a layout to having one.

If I use before and after shots, would that be an acceptable entry??????:tophat:

That's a catch question, everyone knows Irn Bru flows downstream - huh basic physics :avatar:

My idea is a bandstand, with the Police playing - Sting in his yellow and black stripped jumper, and Samantha Fox as the support act.

Samantha I could wear ........ Literally ...... But not her CD's. The hit making machine really brought her career to an end. Photography was her forte.

One good thing for us Ozzys with the Brit EU exit vote is the pound to the Ozzy dollar is a much better exchange rate.
So I made an order to get a box of bits from Knightwing, that will be useful for a NCB yard some structure parts, pipes, tanks etc
I have just received a confirmation email from Knightwing that my order is on its way and Vat free also makes it look a lot better on the Botton line, expect it will possibly be about 5 days in transit, also fingers crossed the NCB Jinty will arrive this week.

I Should have made friends with anyrail by then and have a track plan  or not:faint:
