    Was all that done with your RSU, which hopefully gained you more confidence using it. Crack on mate but I don't think even a completed model would embarrass Toto's lack of progress. :avatar:

    Hand rails were done with the normal iron. The bracing was done by tinning the strip with the normal iron - saved having to move the ground wire from the loco body to the steel plate. The RSU was used to attach the strips to the steps, the heat is only applied for a short while, I only managed to de-solder two of the steps.

    Now now, don't be to hard on him, he's just joined the married men's club, but is reading the MOK Q1's instruction manual(s) and you should hear the cussing :avatar: not sure if it caused by the instructions or change in marital status, I suspect the instructions, and if he knows best should agree with that :giggle: :avatar:

    His 4F may make a trip up north for me to have a look at the chassis, and if the coffee and donuts are plentiful supply I may end up with the body to complete as well :facepalm:.
