Jumped in again without counting, 33 windows on the front wall never mind the other walls .... Now I have the front wall layout sorted, just need to plan the side streets, these again will be a combination of the Large Terrace House and Low relief High street kits. Time for bed I think, and restart on window cutting tomorrow. Paul
Glutton for punishment. Just as well we don't gave a window tax anymore. I would fear a load of bricked up windows. Cheers Toto
There are still houses in the Hilltown that have windows bricked up and rendered, I'll see if i can find a picture. Paul
Great to see that Toto has seen the light with Scalescenes. Certainly much more realistic than Metcalfe and if you do bodge something up, just reprint, re-cut and away you go. Can't do that with Metcalfe or Superquick ! Now, looking at the second pic Toto posted, I'd say his getting ready to do his nails..! Just didn't see any nail varnish... Cheers, Gary.
Bit more work done this evening - inbetween playing with the 4F Window apertures cut out Ashlar brick paper applied to the upper section - 2 sheets needed for the whole length. Then the windows apertures cut again Just need to wrap the windows round, then add a coat of varnish. Paul
Hi Paul it's some building you've got there very impressed have yourself a vino tinto Ian http://www.click
Looks like the old William Halley & Sons Ltd building up on Broughty Ferry Road, Dundee ...! Coming along nicely Paul. Cheers, Gary.
A little progress - these O gauge thingies keep pulling me away. Started on the side wall Again based on the Large corner shop kit and the low relief high street, facade 4 - only the 1st two floors. Paul
Looking good Paul, I'll be battering into my ten aments tonight when I get home. I'm itching to get back on them. This latest build is looking excellent. Cheers Toto
